We’re proud to announce the launch of a new interactive data visualization developed in partnership with the Columbia Business School’s Climate Knowledge Initiative (CKI), a leading research initiative focused on advancing data-driven climate solutions for business leaders and investors. The new experience can be explored here.

Part of the Tamer Institute at Columbia Business School, CKI works to make complex climate and decarbonization data more accessible and actionable. As organizations across industries accelerate efforts to meet net-zero goals, CKI’s mission is to equip decision-makers with the insights and tools they need to drive capital, talent, and innovation toward investable, scalable decarbonization solutions.​

To support this mission, our team partnered with CKI to design and develop an interactive data visualization experience that explores global C02e emissions and abatement pathways across sectors and technologies. Embedded directly on the Columbia Business School’s website, the experience enables users to dynamically explore complex datasets, helping audiences better understand the scale of global emissions and the opportunities for decarbonization across industries. 

This collaboration continues Constructive’s longstanding partnership history with Columbia University and builds on previous work supporting research institutions and mission-driven organizations. Past collaborations include the Data Science Institute at Columbia University, where we helped create a digital platform for one of the world’s leading interdisciplinary data science programs, and the Columbia Global website redesign, which supports Columbia’s international research and engagement initiatives worldwide.

This project also builds on our growing expertise in data visualization, communications design, and digital experiences for research institutions and mission-driven organizations working at the intersection of climate, science, and education. We’re grateful to the CKI team for their partnership and vision throughout the project and proud of the Constructive team members who helped bring this visualization to life.
